Will you take the path of needles? Or pins? I took this photo last summer, I just found it on my laptop now.. So I decided to post it here, I didn't edit it at all aside from the watermark. It's all natural lighting and everything. The picture's of me and I took it with my tripod.
Well, this photo sure draws the viewer in instantly! The fact that it is self taken, is admirable - the framing is very good and the overall composition works really well. Concept-wise now: I think the title you've chosen fits perfectly. This seems indeed like a parallel universe, and the rays of light are the natural boundaries. There's something mystical and dreamy about this capture - the fact that in the light-covered space the shapes and the colours start to fade out ... it's like you're entering a different dimension and walking into the unknown. I don't have much criticism . I gave 3,5 stars on originality, just because I see many pictures that include train tracks lately. Not as creative as yours though. Good job!
This piece has such impact on the viewer, maybe the figure in it is a traveler/wanderer, or is simply taking a peaceful walk. The interpretation is in the eye of the beholder.
The colors - they contrast beautifully. I love how the orange seems to glow. Also how everything is bathed in a beautiful shade of orange.
There is a real sense of content loneliness in this.
One thing that I find annoying myself is the logo. It's not quite as in-your-face as some of the ones I've seen, and logos are very important, but maybe you could consider placing it in the corner where it wont take away from the masterpiece of a photo you have here
