Will you take the path of needles? Or pins?
I took this photo last summer, I just found it on my laptop now.. So I decided to post it here, I didn't edit it at all aside from the watermark. It's all natural lighting and everything. The picture's of me and I took it with my tripod.

Parallel Universe by =Fennecc "I like this picture a lot because it makes you wonder about the person so much? are they going going or coming? and (from) where? it has a kind of sad atmosphere, but hopeful all the same. the colors fit perfect, as well." ( Suggested by CaryM and Featured by astridle )

This piece has such impact on the viewer, maybe the figure in it is a traveler/wanderer, or is simply taking a peaceful walk. The interpretation is in the eye of the beholder.

The colors - they contrast beautifully. I love how the orange seems to glow. Also how everything is bathed in a beautiful shade of orange.

There is a real sense of content loneliness in this.

One thing that I find annoying myself is the logo. It's not quite as in-your-face as some of the ones I've seen, and logos are very important, but maybe you could consider placing it in the corner where it wont take away from the masterpiece of a photo you have here :)

Well, this photo sure draws the viewer in instantly!
The fact that it is self taken, is admirable - the framing is very good and the overall composition works really well.
Concept-wise now: I think the title you've chosen fits perfectly. This seems indeed like a parallel universe, and the rays of light are the natural boundaries. There's something mystical and dreamy about this capture - the fact that in the light-covered space the shapes and the colours start to fade out ... it's like you're entering a different dimension and walking into the unknown.
I don't have much criticism . I gave 3,5 stars on originality, just because I see many pictures that include train tracks lately. Not as creative as yours though. ;)
Good job!

Dear Fennecc,
A remarkable picture... and no edit. wow.

I know, it takes a lot of time and effort to make such pictures. But it pays off at the end.
My opinion;
I think you should edit this. (!?)
Simply because you can push this to another level, and make it really epic.
For instance with a minor Hue and Saturation level adjustments, for the green and brown/blue in the foreground.
So it will be more "this world" doing so, the haze you are standing in will be more "in the parallel"

The track, which is phenomenal caught in this light, why should it be a clear rail-road track over there (!?)
It could be slightly different.
At the end of this track, there is something in the air (?) this can be a focal point for that otherworldly feeling adjustment.
But keep it subtle (no monster eyes and such ;) )

Bottom line; great picture and I understand if you want to keep it this way.
btw great composition, do not change anything there :) .... ever

Thank you for the suggestions, but I'm not very big on editing photographs or doing photo manipulations.. I believe good photographers shouldn't have to do too much editing to their photographs.
I absolutely love this shot. The way the sun, and the fog is. Amazing. :D
